About Me

Mary represents individuals who are injured due to the bad acts and carelessness of others, either through car accidents, medical negligence, or through the negligent maintenance of property (premises liability). Mary has achieved great success in helping individuals who have suffered a serious physical injury. What sets her apart from other Southern Missouri personal injury attorneys is that she does not simply process a large volume of cases. She limits the number of cases she accepts so that each client receives the proper attention to achieve a just result for that individual or their surviving family. Mary proudly works to effectively represent real people with serious injuries through a complex litigation process. Her training is based upon years of hard earned legal experience, first as a litigation paralegal for over 10 years assisting a team of litigation attorneys in bringing complex production liability actions to successful jury verdicts. Later gaining valuable experience working with C.H. Parsons, Jr. being schooled not only in jury trials but also in negotiations and settlements of multi million dollars injury claims.

Mary is recognized in her profession as being more than the professional and competent attorney you would expect given her extensive legal work experience. Mary takes her oath to practice law to the best of her knowledge and ability, anew with each client she agrees to represent and has dedicated her practice to promoting the rights of those wrongly injured and oppressed. Mary was not born of wealth, and she has worked hard all her life to achieve her goal of being a great attorney who can help those who are suffering regain their lives after a traumatic event has caused them personal loss. Mary obtained her law degree, and it came with personal sacrifice and long hours of working. After acquiring extensive hands on before juries as a litigation paralegal for ten years, Mary still desires to learn more about the law, wanted to bring complex litigation before juries, and obtain successful verdict or settlements for those who have suffered due to the negligence or back acts of others.

Mary Griffith was admitted to practice law in Missouri in 1996. Mrs. Griffith represents clients throughout Southeast Missouri in State and Federal Courts. Mary practices primarily in the areas of personal injury, automobile accidents and injuries, wrongful death, and medical malpractice. Mary is also well known for her representation in family law matters, including dissolutions of marriage, modifications of custody and support, and relocation matters. Mrs. Griffith has gained valuable experience in the area of employment discrimination, representing individuals who have suffered age, disability, sex, and race discrimination.

She is a member of the Missouri Bar Association and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys. She is an active member of her community, volunteering and helping to improve the lives of those who work and live in Southeast Missouri.

Mary formed Mary Griffith Law Office, LLC., in 2004, after having gained valuable litigation experience working directly with C.H. Parsons, Jr. at Parsons Law Firm for eight years. While at Parsons Law Firm, Mary was instrumental in obtaining multi-million dollar settlements and jury trial verdicts for catastrophic personal injury cases in the areas of truck accidents, motor vehicle collisions, motorcycle collisions, medical and product liability, aviation crashes and wrongful death. Mary’s prior professional experience was as a civil litigation paralegal in large law firms for over ten years.
